Gold Polish Calculator — Grams-per-Tola Loss → Tola Output
This variant of the polish calculator returns net weight in tola/masha/ratti instead of grams — matching the units local jewellers actually quote and book in. Polish rate input is grams-per-tola (the standard Sarafa Bazar quotation format).
Use this when both buyer and seller are running tola-denominated bookkeeping and the gram detour adds rounding noise to the settlement.
Polish loss in tola
Net tola = Gross tola − (Gross tola × polish g/tola ÷ 11.664). Then convert remainder to masha (× 12) and ratti (× 96) as needed.
